A Spontaneous Trip to Vegas

I’ve been itching for a reason to get out of Salt Lake City for a while now.  Sometimes you’ve just got to get away from the piles of things to do, and all the familiar faces.  So since I last posted I’ve been out on the road.  We took a spontaneous road trip down to Vegas.  I piled Jonah, Ezra, and the bare essentials into a rental and hoped it would go smoothly – this being Ezra’s first long road trip outside of my belly.  I definitely expected more crying and chaos, but the boys were better than I could have imagined (Natural born travelers?).  Surprisingly too because our drive was not ideal since there had been a mudslide that took out a huge chunk of I-15 forcing them to reroute all traffic and extending our travel time by two hours.  The best part of all this: M had some time between starting a new work schedule and scored a great deal on a last minute flight so he was able to come out and meet us there!
